The Ironman Triad Treadmill reviewed.

The Ironman triad treadmill is made by Keys Fitness which is one of the stronger companies in specialty fitness. The founder of Keys likes to keep the manufacturing of the company'es treadmills for the most part in the U.S., so they buy their components overseas and then assemble them in the U.S. The Triad model however is the only Ironman model currently being built in China.

Ironman Treadmills are really nice looking machines and are sold in sporting goods companies throughout the United States including your neighborhood Costco's.

Many solid features are found within the Ironman Triad such as a large 3.0 HP continuous duty motor (no overheating the motor on this treadmill), multiple user presets, a large commercial size running surface, and extremely soft deck cushioning. This cushioning will certainly save your knees and ankles.

The Ironman family of treadmills range in price between $800 and $2,000 with the Ironman triad model priced around $1,400, although you may be able to find it cheaper locally. We've seen it as low as $999.

The warranty for the Ironman triad treadmills is rock solid lifetime protection for the frame and a respectable 10 years on the motor. The parts are covered for 2 years and labor is covered for 1 year. Personally, we don't feel an extended warranty is necessary for the Ironman brand, but it's an option for you if you want to extend your parts and labor coverage.

Overall, Keys has a solid reputation, so although the Ironman line of treadmills, including the Triad treadmill, don't receive the top of the line rave reviews like a Smooth treadmill or a Landis treadmill do, you'll find the Ironman Triad treadmill to be a good purchase and good value for the money. We rate it a very respectable 8/10.
