Proform Treadmills reviewed.
Proform treadmills are about as synonymous
with exercise as you can get. They are manufactured by ICON
Health and Fitness which is the largest fitness equipment
producer in the world. ICON has over 200 engineers that have put
their collective heads together to come up with some
great products.
The good news for you is that the proform
treadmill is one of the lowest priced treadmill brands in the
market. They range in price between $500 and $1,500 with the
majority of Pro form Treadmills falling around the $600 to
$900 range. So if you're on a budget, then you owe it to
yourself to seriously consider Proform.
Obviously the saying that "you get what you pay for" could
apply here, but it just depends on your needs. If you're a
moderate exercise buff vs a light exerciser, then you may want
to focus on the 5 Star Interactive Trainer 1200 Proform model or the 930i
model. Their structural
integrity and overall quality is better then the lower end Proform models.
If you're only going to use your treadmill on a part time or
irregular basis (don't use it to hang your
clothes on though), then you will be very satisfied with the
lower priced 540 treadmill or the ever popular 995 SEL
Treadmill. The 995 even comes with an 8 week interactive
workout program. Cool!
You just simply have to understand that the lower priced
treadmills are not going to be built as
strong as the higher priced ones, but dollar for dollar, you
can still find what you're looking for in the Proform
treadmill model line, and be happy with your purchase. But again...this is assuming that you're more of a light to
moderate treadmill user.
Because Proform is priced with the budget conscious consumer
in mind, you won't find long warranties on the Pro form brand
of treadmill. Some of the models have only a standard 90
day
warranty on parts and labor. The higher end models though
will carry a slightly longer warranty. For added peace of
mind, you may want to purchase an extended warranty from
Universal Technical Services on the lower priced models.

within 90 days after your treadmill purchase.

comparison. Then choose the best one that will fit you based on the above information.
We have to give the Proform treadmill a solid
rating of 8/10. It's a good performing treadmill that will
last a long time if maintained regularly. ICON will back up
your purchase also. We can't issue a 10/10 rating for Proform
because of the simple fact that it is a budget priced
treadmill. This means that the quality is not as high as some
other treadmills like a
Smooth treadmill,
Landis treadmill, or a
True treadmill, but it will hold it's own for the casual
user.
